Chef Max prepared 5 incredible dinners at our villa in Baie Rouge. From the very beginning, he was super responsive, collaborative, and easy to work with. We planned menus and Chef Max readily adapted to our tastes and preferences. The meals surpass any you will find in any restaurant. Max made the most memorable meal during our trip to St. Martin! The entire process was seamless. From booking to choosing the menu and drinks to arrival and dinner service. We went deep sea fishing and asked if Max could cook our catch. He was extremely accommodating and made a beautiful dish with our seafood and some tuna he brought along. The meal was superb! From start to finish, it was a culinary delight paired with wine. He was also just a great guy who was pleasant to talk with after the dinner service had ended. We had a private dinner at our vacation villa with SXM culinary and Chef Maxime Martin. The dinner was exceptional, and the chef and his staff made sure every detail was attended to. Scheduling and menu planning went off without a hitch prior to our arrival. The food was beautifully prepared. Simply a lovely evening. I would highly recommend them.

This was one of the best experiences we could of asked for, service and food was amazing. we did a breakfast chef option for Mothers Day, we also had a buffet for the evening with Mimosa bar through out the day!! Presentation, Service, Food was top top top notch and we highly recommend.

An absolutely wonderful experience with Maxime. I fully endorse his services. Each of his dishes exceeded anything you can find in a restaurant on the island, from the quality of the ingredients, to the combination of flavors, to the presentation. One of our party was pregnant which excluded her from certain types of food and preparations. Maxime accommodated our needs accordingly, and our preferences too. If we could have booked him for every meal during our stay we would have. Six stars out of five!!!!!! Highly recommend!

What an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish!! Chef Maxine was absolutely wonderful to work with and helped me plan the most special evening to celebrate my 40th birthday. Chef Maxime also worked with me to plan a cocktail hour for my group to start which really felt like it elevated the evening. We had a group of 11 with various different dietary preferences and he was able to absolutely knock it out of the park for all of us!! We also had a tiny diner (8 year old) and he was super open to creating a custom menu for him which we really appreciated. The server he brought with him (my deepest apologies, I cannot recall her name) was absolutely lovely and both the chef and server left our villa sparkling. I would not hesitate to book this service again for the next time we are celebrating a special occasion in Saint Martin. Thank you so much, Chef!!

We were delighted to work with Max as our chef for a family vacation for the second year.

Personally Max is a joy to work with, he is responsive and collaborative. He worked with us developing a menu not just for meals he prepared, but our entire meal plan for our stay.

He worked with preferences for our two very picky eater children, going above and beyond to create not just nice meals for them, but to elevate the food that they would eat to be extra special.

Max not only creates wonderful dishes, prepared with care and excellence; Max creates a holistic experience around the table and the kitchen. Inviting us as much into his world as we invite him into ours.

Max clearly loves his work and sharing the joy of food with his clients, I have taken lessons from Max’s kitchen home with me into my own.

We enjoyed a private dinner prepared by Chef Maxime while visiting St Martin. From the first of several chat encounters, which I filled with questions about his services and menu options, his responses were always prompt and thorough. Communication was excellent! On an agreed upon date, Chef Max and Margot arrived punctually and served us with great hospitality. The meal was delicious especially the dessert which our group continued to talk about for days. I highly recommend his crème brûlée and SXM Culinary Services.

What a wonderful evening with Chef Maximo and Bonnie! We left the menu up to him and it was absolutely delicious. He developed a menu enjoyed by kids and was able to incorporate gluten and celiac. The service was impeccable and discreet, but fun. We cannot say enough about the evening enjoyed by all!

Managing allergies can sometimes be challenging, but he handled everything with care and professionalism, making sure every dish was safe and thoughtfully prepared.

He was also very prompt and organized, which made the whole experience stress-free. The food itself was absolutely excellent—beautifully prepared, flavorful, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients.

We had Chef Max for 2 meals for our stay in SXM. He came for our first night and made a wonderful dinner for our group and the dessert was out of this world which was chocolate coconut mouse was so delicious. He then came back for brunch another day and I was equally satisfied. He even made me my own GF pancakes and French toast which I was very impressed with. If I’m ever in SXM again and we need a chef I will be calling him.

We used Chef Maxime’s SXM Culinary Services for a private catered dinner at a villa in St Maarten and everything was excellent.
We chose the SXM menu option as we had a shellfish allergy in our group, and he very easily switched out the one shellfish item in the first course for that person.
The lamb, which I was a little skeptical about ordering, because lamb can be finicky to make, was absolutely one of the best prepared lamb chops I have ever had. It was perfect.
The table setup was lovely, the service was very gracious, and we could not have been more pleased with everything about this meal. Everyone in our group loved it, and Maxime was great to work with, good communication, very professional. Definitely highly recommended.

During our visit to St Maarten we were lucky to have booked Chef Maxime for two days, which included breakfast and dinner on both of those days. It was absolutely incredible. From a fresh, delicious breakfast to an expertly prepared and beautifully plated dinner, every bite was amazing.

Chef Maxime was spectacular! We have had many private chef’s over the years, but this was by far the best! Each course was expertly prepared and presented and the flavors and pairings were incredible. We went with the mystery dinner and we are so glad we did! He was able to adjust for different preferences in our group, but each item he prepared was delicious. I wish I had gotten more pictures, but we were too busy enjoying it!

We were lucky to have two delicious dinners cooked by Max. Both nights were excellent. Wonderful local ingredients and fantastic fine dining dishes. Desserts were exceptional both nights. For a one of a kind experience in a beautiful part of the world you can’t go wrong.

Max gave us two absolutely delicious meals and they were some of the best meals of my life. In both meals there was shrimp and it was the best shrimp of my life. If I come back to St Martin I will absolutely come to Maxine again.
